Fort Vermillion Man Charged with One Count Sexual Assault

Assumption, Alberta – Assumption RCMP officers have arrested and charged a 58-year-old male of Fort Vermillion, Abraham Chempottickal, with one count of sexual assault. An investigation was initiated in August 2013 as a result of a complaint reported by an adult female alleging that Abraham Chempottickal had inappropriately touched her.

Abraham Chempottickal has been released to appear in Assumption Provincial Court on Wednesday February 5, 2014.
